About Me
I am an architect, artist and photographer based in the UK. My artwork blends these disciplines with a love of nature into stunning visual experiences.
Working in many different media, my artistic talents range from photography to pencil, pastel and pen & ink drawing, watercolor and acrylic painting, CAD and 3D simulation along with the physical art of making objects, buildings and landscapes.
A passion for geometry and nature are evident throughout all of my art and architecture work. I loved jigsaws as a child, biology and art at school and have the ability to think three dimensionally. These factors have helped me to excel in the field of architecture as a student and professionally.
My interest in Biophilic design began in 1997 with nature and its systems inspiring and directing my design and creative direction from the outset of my career.
I gained a First Class (Hons) degree in Architecture from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2000. A postgraduate diploma in Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London in 2004 and became a fully qualified and registered Architect in 2007.
I have worked at two times Stirling Prize winning Architecture Practice Wilkinson Eyre Architects in London as well as with University professors from the UK and abroad.
Drawn work I have produced and models I have made have been exhibited in the UK and internationally including at the Royal Academy, London and the Venice Biennale.
