Inspiration
Nature, its interconnected patterns and systems has always fascinated me. As has water and its life giving properties.
To convey the complex beauty I see around me with just a pen and a piece of paper was my objective and the results continue to inspire me and others who experience my work.

Sanctity
Through the drawing process I find a route into a captivating, immersive and calming place.
I hope my work can highlight the beauty and fragility of all creatures and the life giving ecosystems supporting them.
Series
I produced the first work as a birthday gift for my Nephew in 2020 and over the next two years went on to produce subsequent drawings for family and friends' birthdays. The series consists today of 17 sea creatures.
All produced by my hand with one pen and one piece of paper, no editing has taken place and all are first, one and only attempts at each subject matter.
Every line and dot has been drawn with care and attention to detail as found in all of nature.
